Workshop on “The Period of Adolescence” for parents
Adolescence is a tough time for a parent and child alike. Adolescents experience rapid physical, cognitive and psychosocial growth.
To educate parents about the behavioural changes in adolescents, an event “The Period of Adolescence” was organized by NPS, Chikkabanavara on 1st July 2023 which was addressed by our counsellor Mrs. Christine who is a professional in Psychology.
A very insightful, interactive session was conducted for parents to tackle the challenges of adolescents. The Academic Director and Principal Mrs. Mary Thomas also shared some strategies to help parents understand the period of adolescence as a developing stage. Such seminars build a healthy relationship between parents and the institution, who together deal with the day-to-day challenges of the children and guide them to lead a better life.
