A Journey through Imagination
Story time session is a dynamic and effective method to enrich the learning experience in pre-primary education. These sessions are conducted in an interactive manner, choosing stories with relatable characters, simple narratives, incorporating props, puppets, gestures and role-play to actively engage children and enhance the learning and retention of story content.
A role-play on the story, ‘The Enormous Carrot’ was enacted by the teachers of Pre-Primary at National Public School, Ckbnr on Tuesday, the 5th of March 2024. The students were naturally drawn to the imaginative and interactive nature of the role-play. They eagerly listened to the story and became fully engaged as they observed their teachers taking on different characters and bringing the narrative to life. The response of the little ones was overwhelmingly positive.
