To promote the habit of reading in children, Scholastic Book Fair was organized in the school from 6^th to 9^th August 2018.The book fair which was hosted in the activity room corridor, brought a wide variety of books for children of all ages .The children hustled and bustled around the fair with lots of excitement, picking up every book they could get hold of.

In addition to the display of books, an exciting environment was created with other activities such as join the dots and colour it for grade 3, designing a new cover page for Geronimo Stilton for grades 4 and 5 and on the last day of the fair, Ms.Swapna Dutta, a famous author was invited. Students of grade 6 to 12 took part in a session with the author and were explained about the importance of reading books and creative writing. Each day a student was awarded with a book in the lucky draw. On the whole, the book fair was a grand success.
