Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by the children and staff of Pre-primary on Friday, 19 of August. The students came traditionally dressed in festive colourful attire. The children of Nursery came dressed as Radha and Krishna. The premises was decorated beautifully and spread the spirit of festivity.

A splendidly colourful program was organized by the teachers; where children of KG1 presented a dance performance. There was a short play narrated by the teachers and children did a roleplay.

Teachers also presented a song and dance performance to the children.

There was a ‘Dahi Handi’ breaking event during this celebration, in which the Krishna’s of pre-primary were overjoyed to break the pot.
In class, children coloured Little Krishna as an activity. For the children of Nursery, a headgear with printout of peacock feather was given as takeaway.

It was a magical moment as the children truly loved the celebration and were happy to be a part of it.
