COMBINING LEARNING WITH FUN!!!

FIELD TRIPS

Children are active learners as they are constantly making connections with the world around them. With an innate drive to learn and explore, field trips were arranged for the students of the Pre-Primary Section.

The tiny tots of the Nursery went to the supermarket – Royal Mart, Abbigere on the 19th January, 2023 as a part of the extended learning. They were happy to walk around and see the different sections of the supermarket. They were told about how things are bought, billed, and paid for.

The KG-1 students were taken to the Chikkabanavara Railway station on the 20th of January, 2023. The main purpose of the trip was to help them to know how people travel. The Teachers explained how to get tickets and enter and exit the railway station. Children met the Station Master who showed them the use of the hand-held green and red flags as a signal for trains to stop or go.

The KG-2 students were taken on a field trip to HMT Museum on the 25th of January, 2023. Children were taken around the museum and shown different parts of the watch and few machines which were used initially for manufacture. They watched short animated movies in the AV room. Children were taken on a joy ride in the tractor along with their teachers.

To express their gratitude to the person in-charge of the place the little ones presented them with a Thank you card.

Overall, it was a fun-filled learning experience. The pictures posted below prove the enjoyment they had!!!
