INDEPENDENCE DAY – HAR GHAR TIRANGA

On the auspicious day of our 75th Independence Day (15/8/2022), pre-primary children had a special assembly on August 16, 2022, Tuesday, in which the children of KG 1 were also a part. Few selected children from KG2 danced to the medley of patriotic songs during the assembly which was witnessed by the children of KG1. Few teachers spoke about the importance of Independence Day. Teachers sang the song “Vande mataram” and the children had an opportunity to sing along.
Children coloured the Indian flag as an activity. In class, children were told about the National symbols and a takeaway – tri-coloured badge was given to the pre-primary children as they left for the day. It was a great delight to see the children participate actively in our National festival. Children were enthusiastic to learn about our Independence.
