Green is a colour that symbolizes harmony, freshness, fertility and growth; it is considered to be the easiest colour on the eyes. The colour is mostly associated with calmness, agreeability and tolerance.

Green Colour Day was celebrated at National Public School, Chikkabanavara on the 17th of September 2021, in an informative way where our students learnt about the importance of green colour and the positive effects it has on our lives. The online classes buzzed with activities like a video on the three Rs, the meaning of green lights on the modem/router, Chromium [III] oxide – Properties and Use, the fascinating frogs – mossy and glass, Significance of ‘Green colour’ in Network devices, significance of the green colour in a Satellite imagery and many more. The students actively involved themselves in the various class room activities planned by the teachers.

Bubbling with enthusiasm in their astonishing green costumes the students and teachers of Grade I-XII created a pleasant, harmonious and refreshing aura.

The Green Day celebration was a learning experience for the students.
