School election is a unique civic learning process. It teaches the students about democracy and how it works.
The school had an air of democratic process when the student council elections were held. As part of the process there was a canvassing phase which lasted for 2 days prior to the day of the elections. The candidates addressed the students of grades VIII –XII highlighting their vision for the school and the various activities that would be undertaken if they would come to power.
On Friday the 18th of June 2019, the school buzzed with election fever. The theatre room was converted into an election station. Each student on entering the station was given ballot papers on which they had to choose their candidate by putting a seal against their name and dropping their paper into a secret ballot box.
The CEO Ms. Preethi Reddy, Academic Director and Principal Ms. Mary Thomas and all the faculties casted their valuable votes for the deserving candidate.
The entire election process was conducted with utmost discipline and integrity.
