‘DIWALI’ a festival of new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness was celebrated online with great festive fervour at National Public School, Chikkabanavara on the 2nd of November 2021.
Right from our little ones of Pre-primary to Grade XII participated enthusiastically spreading the festive cheer.
The children turned out dressed in their traditional attire for the virtual celebration.
The day began with a special assembly followed by a special mention about the significance of the festival and the different ways it is celebrated all over India.
The students also spoke about the traditional sweets that are prepared during Diwali. A few of them showcased their singing talent by rendering songs for their peers and teachers alike.
The students also highlighted the importance of following the safety measures while bursting fire crackers.
Virtual as it may be, the sparkles of the festivity uplifted our spirits promising all of us the joy of Diwali and hope for a bright and prosperous year ahead.
