There was a counselling session for the teachers of NPS on 28^th October 2017 conducted by Ms.Akhila on the topic “Role of school on counselling”. The session started with an interesting brainstorming activity which kept every individual present there. It continued with the brief explanation on the coping strategies where an individual faces lots of struggle at school, home or workplace. She also told about the qualities like empathy, compassion and warmth a teacher as counsellor should possess. The session ended with a prayer which made lots of sense for the teachers. The session was a overall knowledgeable one.
