WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2025-26

“The Earth is our home – let’s keep it clean, green and happy!”On Thursday, the 5th of June 2025, the enthusiastic little learners of KG I and KG II joined hands withthe rest of the school in celebrating World Environment Day with joy, care and a shared sense ofresponsibility.
A special morning assembly brought together students from Pre-primary to Grade 12, united in their commitment to protect our planet. This year’s theme – “Beat Plastic Pollution” – was eaningfully introduced in classrooms by teachers, who explained it in a way that helped even our youngest learners understand how they can make a difference.
Adding life to the message, children took part in a sapling plantation drive along with students from other grades. Watching tiny hands gently place young plants into the soil was a heartwarming reminder that change begins early – and that every child can grow up to be a guardian of the Earth.
To further reinforce the idea that “green is always beautiful,” children from KG I and KG II also created charming handmade flower bouquets as a takeaway – a colourful symbol of their connection to nature and their role in nurturing it.
At our school, we believe that environmental awareness starts young, and with every seed sown – in the soil and in their hearts – we are growing a greener, more thoughtful generation.
