BETTER ENVIRONMENT, BETTER TOMORROW

We at NPS, Chikkabanavara always believe in grooming our students to become alert citizens
who can contribute positively in safeguarding and protecting this planet by instilling the
belief that each one of them can become good stewards of the environment. This year the
theme of Environment Day is ‘Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature’.

The day began with a special assembly conducted by the students of Grade VIII wherein they
enlightened the students about the significance of safe, clean and sustainable environment.
Various activities were planned for different grades like making of eco-friendly hand
sanitizer, shoe box bird house, JAM sessions, making an herbarium of leaves, speeches etc.
Students across all grades participated enthusiastically and pledged to do their bit in taking
care of the environment.
