NPS, Ckbnr observed the twin celebrations of Onam and Eid-e-Milad through a special assembly held on September 4, 2025.
The special assembly started with highlighting the significance of Eid-e-Milad. A verse from the Holy Quran was recited along with its translation, followed by a soulful naat in memory of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). Students, dressed in traditional attire, added to the spirit of the occasion.
The Onam celebrations were equally captivating as Grade VI students presented a traditional dance that beautifully reflected the cultural essence of the festival. One of the students also spoke about the significance of Onam, adding meaning to the celebration.
On the occasion, Junior School Principal, Ms. Rajee Samjith, extended her festive wishes and reminded students of the values these celebrations inspire.
Senior School Principal, Ms. Priyanka Suresh, in her address, emphasised both the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and the cultural richness of Onam, encouraging students to imbibe the values of harmony and togetherness.
A colourful Pookalam (floral decoration), symbolising the joy and vibrancy of the festival, was created at the entrance in the reception area.
