The 79th Independence Day was celebrated at NPS Chikkabanavara on 15th August 2025. The programme began with the flag hoisting ceremony by the Chairman, Mr. Raja Reddy, accompanied by the Senior School Principal,
Ms. Priyanka Suresh and the Junior School Principal, Ms. Rajee Samjith. Flag hoisting was followed by the rendition of the National Anthem and floral tributes offered to all the freedom fighters.
Students from Grade I to XII presented a vibrant cultural programme that won the audience’s applause. The event featured soulful instrumental music, patriotic songs and graceful dance performances. A special highlight was the mime presentation on the theme “Operation Sindoor”, which left a lasting impact with its powerful portrayal of courage and unity.
Both Principals addressed the gathering with inspiring words, encouraging students to uphold the values of patriotism, responsibility and service to the nation. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets to staff and students, marking a joyous end to the occasion.
The Independence Day celebration at NPS Chikkabanavara was a tribute to India’s freedom and a reminder of the vital role young citizens play in shaping the nation’s future.
