On Saturday, 6th June 2026, a refreshing and enriching Quality Circle Time (QCT) Workshop was conducted for teachers from Pre-Primary to Grade II by our respected Junior SchoolPrincipal, Ms. Rajee Samjith. The session aimed to equip educators with effective strategies to conduct meaningful Circle Time sessions that nurture children’s social, emotional and communication skills in a joyful and inclusive classroom environment.

The workshop provided valuable insights into the purpose and structure of Quality Circle Time, highlighting how thoughtfully planned discussions and interactive activities can help children express their thoughts, build confidence, develop empathy and strengthen positive relationships with their peers and teachers.To make the learning experience more engaging, teachers enthusiastically participated in a variety of hands-on activities and collaborative exercises that mirrored the Circle Timeexperiences intended for students. These practical sessions enabled the educators tounderstand the activities from a child’s perspective, making it easier to implement them effectively and confidently in their own classrooms.

The workshop proved to be both inspiring and rejuvenating, leaving teachers with fresh ideas, renewed enthusiasm and practical techniques to create warm, happy and emotionally secure learning spaces. It was a truly enriching professional development session that reinforced our commitment to continuous learning and excellence in early childhood education.
