INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2026–27: EMPOWERING TOMORROW’S LEADERS

The Investiture Ceremony for the Academic Year 2026–27 was held with great pride and dignity, marking the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council. The occasion celebrated leadership, responsibility and service, inspiring young leaders to uphold the values and vision of the school.

The Chief Guest for the occasion, Shri. Rajashekara S, State Information Commissioner, State Information Commission, graced the ceremony with his esteemed presence. He was formally welcomed by the school authorities, and the School Band accorded him a grand reception, setting the tone for the prestigious event.
The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest Shri. Rajashekara S, Shri Y Raja Reddy (Chairman), Ms. Preethi Reddy (CEO), Ms. Priyanka Suresh (Principal Senior School) and Ms. Rajee Samjith (Principal Junior School), symbolising the dispelling of darkness through knowledge and wisdom.
Ms. Priyanka Suresh, (Chief Election Commissioner) formally presented the account of the Student Council Election Process, highlighting its transparent and democratic nature. She then officially handed over the election results to the CEO, reaffirming the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible student leadership. A short video showcasing the nominations, campaigning, voting and announcement of results was screened, giving the audience a glimpse into the democratic spirit embraced by the school.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Preethi Reddy, (CEO), shared valuable insights on leadership and the importance of embracing responsibilities with commitment, integrity and confidence. Her inspiring words encouraged students to lead with purpose and accountability.
The Principal then introduced the newly elected Student Council members and warmly welcomed them. The most awaited segment of the ceremony followed, as the dignitaries conferred the Student Council with sashes and badges, symbolically entrusting them with the mantle of leadership and the responsibilities they would shoulder throughout the Academic Year. The elected representatives then took the oath of office, administered by the Chief Election Commissioner and Senior School Principal, Ms. Priyanka Suresh.
In his inspiring keynote address, the Chief Guest Shri Rajashekara S emphasised the values of perseverance, consistency, discipline and ownership. Through examples of globally renowned leaders who overcame repeated failures before achieving success, he motivated the students to remain resilient and committed in their pursuit of excellence.
The newly elected School President, Master Gautham J M, expressed his gratitude and pledged, on behalf of the Student Council, to lead with dedication, sincerity and a spirit of service. He also delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, management.
