Theme: “From Cave Paintings to Virtual Reality: The Evolution of Human Expression”
NPS C K B N R recently hosted a vibrant Inter-House Bulletin Board Poster Making Competition, bringing together creativity, history, and technology on one canvas.The event saw enthusiastic participation from all four houses: Athena, Nike, Eirene, and Eos.

Students worked in teams to transform their respective bulletin boards into visual narratives of humanity’s journey of expression — from the earliest cave paintings of Lascaux to the immersive world of Virtual Reality.

All the Houses depicted the dawn of communication through prehistoric art, hieroglyphs, and ancient manuscripts, the Renaissance, the printing press, and the birth of modern media as milestones in mass expression. They also illustrated the 20th century revolution — photography, cinema, television, and the internet by captured the digital age, highlighting social media, AI, AR/VR, and how technology is reshaping human creativity today.

The competition aimed to encourage research, teamwork, and artistic skills while helping students reflect on how the need to communicate and create has remained constant, even as the tools have evolved dramatically. The bulletin boards were judged on creativity, relevance to theme, visual appeal, teamwork, and presentation.The event was a true celebration of art as the timeless language of humanity. We congratulate all four houses for their outstanding effort and for reminding us that from stonewalls to virtual worlds, human expression continues to evolve and inspire.
