May your spirits rise with the flag today! Happy 75th Independence Day!


As India celebrates ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ marking the 75th year of India’s Independence, National Public School, Chikkabanavara celebrated this momentous occasion with much gaiety and alacrity. The celebrations started a week before, a cultural week titled ‘Incredible India’ that accentuated the uniqueness embedded in the spirit of our country was celebrated across all grades during the morning assembly.


The special occasion of 15th August 2022 started with the hoisting of the Indian tricolour by the CEO Mrs. Preethi Reddy and the Academic Director and Principal Mrs. Mary Thomas followed by the National Anthem.


To commemorate the occasion a speech was delivered by Khushi N of Grade XII. The solo and group song and dance performances by the students filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervour.


The programme ended, but the merriment continued as all present collectively and enthusiastically celebrated the greatest Indian festival, proudly declaring in one voice, “Jai Hind!”
