INCREDIBLE INDIA – A COLOURFUL JOURNEY THROUGH OUR HERITAGE 2026-27

“India is not just a country; it is a beautiful tapestry of cultures, traditions, stories and colours woven together as one”

As part of the Independence Week celebrations, the Pre-Primary Wing celebrated “Incredible India” on Monday, the 10th of August and Tuesday, the 11th of August 2026, providing our young learners with a joyful opportunity to explore the richness and diversity of India. The celebrations began on 10th August with an Ethnic Fest for the Playgroup and Nursery learners. The little ones arrived dressed in colourful traditional and ethnic attire representing
different regions and states of India. The vibrant costumes brought the spirit of our diverseculture alive and gave children an early glimpse into the many traditions that make India truly incredible.

The KG I learners participated in a lively Talk Show on Famous Indian Personalities. Dressed as inspiring personalities and freedom fighters, the children confidently presented a few lines about the individuals they represented. Their enthusiastic participation helped them learn about the remarkable people who have contributed to India’s history and inspired generations.

The celebrations continued on 11th August with the Heritage of India presented by the KG II learners. The children explored the cultural richness of different Indian states through aspects such as festivals, food, important monuments, music, dance and traditions. With colourful costumes and thoughtfully chosen props, they enthusiastically shared their learning, bringing India’s diverse heritage to life.

The two-day celebration was a beautiful blend of learning, creativity, confidence and cultural appreciation. Through meaningful experiences, our young learners discovered that while India is wonderfully diverse in its traditions and cultures, these differences come together to create one vibrant and united nation.

Incredible India was truly a celebration of the colours, stories, people and traditions that make our country extraordinary.
