Hindi Diwas is celebrated in schools and educational institutions on 14th September every year as Hindi was adopted as one of the official languages of India on this day in 1949.
At National Public School, Ckbnr a special assembly was conducted wherein students of Grades VI – XII recited verses from the poems of famous poets to pay homage to the ancient Indian culture. Virika of Grade VIII C delivered a speech in Hindi, highlighting the importance of the language and its role in preserving Indian culture and heritage. Rishab Mittal of Grade XB and Mahi Khandelwal of Grade VIIIA enacted a play depicting the usage of ‘Muhavare’ in Hindi language.
Hindi Diwas celebrations in schools not only promote the Hindi language but also instil a sense of pride in India’s rich linguistic and cultural heritage. It’s an opportunity for students to learn more about their culture and language while fostering a sense of unity and national identity.
