“HARVEST & HARMONY”- CULTURAL MOSAIC OF EID AND ONAM- 2026 -27

The school celebrated the spirit of unity and cultural diversity with a vibrant joint observance of Eid and Onam during a special assembly on 25th August 2026. Students from pre-primary to higher grades participated with great enthusiasm.
The celebration began with Eid, marking the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Students came dressed in traditional Islamic attire, adding grace to the occasion.Ms. Safwana, Student from Grade IX delivered a thoughtful speech on the significance of the day, emphasizing the values of compassion, peace, and brotherhood.
This was followed by a soulful recitation of the Kalma from the Holy Quran by a Ms. Aleena Shaik and Reem, Higher-grade students, along with its interpretation, which conveyed its deeper meaning to the audience. The segment concluded with a melodious group song rendition, filling the assembly hall with devotion.
“The spirit of celebration continued with the Onam festivities. Ms. Anjika, Ms. Greeshma, Master Nischey, and Master Hrishikesh of Grade IX presented a speech on the significance and rituals of Onam.” A group song depicting the harvest season and floral beauty of Onam set the tone.
A group of teachers presented a lively song and dance performance, and their intricate group dance formation drew special appreciation from the audience.
The arrival of Bali Maharaj became the center of attraction and was welcomed with cheers, symbolizing prosperity and togetherness.
Addressing the gathering, Senior School Principal, Ms. Priyanka Suresh, extended her warm wishes to everyone. She highlighted the cultural importance of such integrated celebrations and encouraged students to respect and learn from all traditions.
The assembly concluded on a note of harmony, reminding us that festivals are not just about rituals, but about coming together as one school family.
