GROWING GREEN HEARTS – CELEBRATING WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2026-27

“The greatest gift we can give our children is not only knowledge, but a greener planet to call home.”

On Friday, 5th June 2026, our enthusiastic KG I and KG II learners celebrated World Environment Day with great zeal, learning the importance of protecting and preserving nature through meaningful classroom experiences and engaging activities.

The celebration began with teachers conducting interactive classroom sessions, helping children understand the significance of caring for the environment. Through age-appropriate discussions, stories and real-life examples, the little learners discovered how simple habits such as planting trees, saving water, reducing waste and keeping their surroundings clean can contribute towards a healthier and greener planet.

To reinforce the message in a fun and creative way, each class participated in unique environment-themed activities thoughtfully planned by their teachers. These hands-on experiences encouraged children to express their creativity while developing a deeper appreciation for nature and their role in protecting it.

As a meaningful highlight of the day, students from every segment of the school came together for a sapling plantation drive, symbolising growth, hope and a shared commitment to a sustainable future. Watching young hands carefully plant and nurture saplings served as a beautiful reminder that every small action can create a lasting impact on the world around us.

The celebration concluded with smiles, learning and a renewed sense of responsibility towards Mother Earth. By combining awareness with action, our young learners took an important step towards becoming environmentally conscious citizens, proving that even the smallest hands can help build a greener tomorrow.
