GREEN HEARTS, GREENER TOMORROW INSPIRED BY NATURE, FOR CLIMATE, FOR OUR FUTURE 2026-27

Our school community came together for a meaningful and inspiring special assembly for the Students of Grades VI-XII to celebrate World Environment Day on 05th June 2026. The event focused on environmental consciousness, collective responsibility and sustainable living.
The assembly commenced on an inspiring note with a thought-provoking message highlighting our deep connection to the Earth, followed by a comprehensive update on global and local news. Representing the student body, a senior student delivered a passionate speech urging peers to transition from mere awareness to everyday sustainable action.
Our Junior School Principal, Ms. Rajee Samjith, encouraged the younger students to build simple, eco-friendly habits like saving water and reducing waste. Building on this theme, the Senior School Principal, Ms. Priyanka Suresh, challenged the students to reflect deeply on their ecological footprint and champion innovative, discipline-led stewardship for the planet. Adding a serene melody to the morning, Anyssa of Grade VIII treated the audience to a beautiful keyboard solo, dedicated to nature.
On the occasion the students of Grades VI-XII also participated in various engaging, age-appropriate classroom activities like Leaf art using leaves as canvas, Mini Magnet Planters using clay, Paper bag painting, Rangoli and Planting of Saplings which were designed to foster creative problem-solving and environmental stewardship.
The day concluded with all the students and staff taking a pledge to respect nature, reduce our environmental footprint and contribute to building a cleaner, greener and a healthier world.
