FRESHERS’ DAY: DESI DHAMAKA! A SPLASH OF TRADITION, A BURST OF TALENT AND A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES 2026-27

The school campus came alive with colours, culture and celebration as the Freshers’ Day for the students of Grade XI was organised with the vibrant theme “Desi Dhamaka”.
Adding a traditional charm to the occasion, the students arrived dressed in beautiful ethnic attire, showcasing the rich diversity and elegance of Indian culture. The auditorium echoed with excitement as the freshers stepped in and were given a traditional welcome that was designed especially to make them feel valued and welcomed. The event was a perfect blend of tradition, talent and youthful energy, creating an unforgettable welcome for the newest members of the Senior School family.
The programme began with the introduction of the freshers’ followed by an energetic dance performance by the students of Grade X. Their electrifying performance filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm and set the perfect tone for the celebrations.
The students were then inspired by the words of wisdom and encouragement shared by the Senior School Principal and Junior School Principal, who welcomed the Grade XI students and motivated them to embrace new opportunities, challenges and responsibilities as they entered this important phase of their academic journey.
One of the most awaited highlights of the day was the Ramp Walk by the Grade XI students. The freshers showcased their personalities with confidence, style and grace. The stage transformed into a runway filled with smiles, creativity and vibrant expressions. The excitement reached its peak with the announcement of Miss Fresher and Master Fresher, by the Principal Senior School. They were recognised for their traditional attire, confidence, charm and overall presence. The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving the students with cherished memories and a sense of belonging.
The Freshers’ Day – Desi Dhamaka truly celebrated the spirit of togetherness, tradition and new beginnings, marking the start of a wonderful journey for the Grade XI students.
