“Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden.”The new academic year at National Public School, Chikkabanavara began on a joyful note as our youngest learners from Nursery and Playgroup had their first day of school on 6th June and 11th June 2025, respectively. It was a heartwarming start, filled with smiles, excitement and meaningful parentchild moments.
To make the transition smooth and memorable, parents were invited to join their little ones on the first day. Together, they played games and participated in classroom activities, turning the day into a celebration of beginnings. In Nursery, parents wrote one line about their child using their name and an adjective, which was beautifully displayed on a “Flower Garden” crafted by the teachers. Each flower carried a special message, reflecting the uniqueness of every child. A delightful bunny craft activity followed, where children coloured and decorated bunnies with the help of their parents, making the experience even more special.
In Playgroup, our tiny tots engaged in a joyful paper tearing and sticking activity to create a bright, colourful bouquet. This hands-on experience not only sparked creativity but also gave children a sense of accomplishment as they proudly showed off their work.
The day was a perfect blend of fun, creativity and bonding – marking the beginning of a nurturing and joyful journey ahead.
