NPS Chikkabanavara, had organized a session on “Experimental Learning” on the 3rdof August 2022 in the school premises for the students of Grades X-XII.

The Regional Convener of Indian Association of Physics Teachers,Mrs. Sharmishta Sahu was at the school for an interactive session with the students. Students performed experiments in optics, where they were given hands-on learning and taught the derivations for images through multiple mirrors through observation and inference.

Students participated enthusiastically, shared their ideas and thought aloud; connecting their learning to real life situations that they would have observed in malls and saloons.

Further activities to understand solid angles and multiple reflections were done through mathematical deduction as well.

This was the first in-person interaction on ‘Experimental Learning’ since the pandemic began, and it gave all the students a sense of involvement in the subject of Physics.
