The Element Fire – Agni was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the pre-primary children on Wednesday, 28th January. A special assembly was conducted to help young learners understand this vital element. The ceremony began with the lamp lighting by the Junior School Principal Ms. Rajee Samjith and Section Head Ms. Mamatha B. R, marking the symbolic beginning of the celebration of the element – Fire.

Children and teachers arrived dressed in vibrant shades of orange, bringing the spirit of fire alive. Teachers from KG I presented an engaging role play demonstrating the safe use of fire and the dangers associated with it, making safety learning both simple and memorable. Students from KG II confidently spoke about the various uses of fire and the important safety measures to follow when handling it.

Fun and interactive games such as Fire-themed hopscotch and an activity where students “extinguished” a paper fire using water cutouts added excitement to the day. The children thoroughly enjoyed these hands-on experiences while learning essential fire-safety concepts.
The celebration beautifully blended learning, awareness and joyful participation, igniting curiosity in every young mind.
