“The air we breathe is invisible, yet it gives life to all.”

The students from Pre-Primary to Grade II at National Public School, Chikkabanavara, celebrated the Element Air on Monday, the 25th of August 2025, with great enthusiasm and curiosity. Earlier, in the months of June and July, the young learners had explored the Element Earth, and this time, they took a deep dive into understanding the magic and importance of air.

A special assembly was organised where children were introduced to fun experiments that demonstrated the presence and properties of air. From watching balloons inflate to observing how air can move objects, the little scientists were amazed at the wonders around them. Breathing exercises were also conducted, helping students understand the role of air in keeping our bodies healthy and strong.
To add to the spirit of the day, students and teachers alike were dressed in white, symbolising the purity and invisibility of air. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as children discovered how something we cannot see plays such an essential role in our everyday lives.

The celebration not only made learning interactive and experiential but also encouraged the students to observe and appreciate the natural elements around them.
