The spirit of devotion, music and timeless wisdom came alive at NPS, Chikkabanavara during a special Assembly conducted on 4th September 2026 on the occasion of Janmashtami, with enthusiastic participation from the students of Grades VI to XII.
Dhatri G A of VIII C and Nesara K Gowda of X A recited verses from the Chapters of The Bhagavad Gita, creating a reflective and meaningful beginning to the celebration followed by a soulful vocal rendition “Madhurashtakam” on Lord Krishna by Adithya N, Aindritha S and Navya Tandon of Grade VIII. Their philosophical and devotional presentation deeply moved the audience, inspiring students and teachers alike to join in, transforming the gathering into a spontaneous bhajan session.
Ms. Priyanka Suresh, Senior School Principal, enriched the occasion with reflections on Lord Krishna’s teachings on Karma, duty, responsibility and commitment, inspiring students to connect these timeless values with their own lives.
The celebration beautifully brought together faith, music, wisdom and togetherness.
