On Saturday, 27th June 2026, National Public School, Chikkabanavara, conducted an insightful Curriculum Overview Session for the parents of Nursery, KG I and KG II learners. The session served as a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the partnership between home and school, ensuring that every child receives consistent guidance and support throughout their learning journey.

The interactive session provided parents with a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum, teaching methodologies, learning outcomes and age-appropriate developmental milestones for the academic year. Teachers shared how foundational literacy, numeracy, thematic learning, life skills and experiential activities are thoughtfully woven into the daily classroom routine to foster holistic development.

Parents were also familiarised with classroom expectations, assessment practices, school policies and routines that help create a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment. The session encouraged open communication, allowing parents to clarify their queries and gain valuable insights into their child’s educational journey.

Adding warmth and enthusiasm to the programme, parents actively participated in engaging classroom activities and action songs, giving them a firsthand experience of how learning takes place in the pre-primary classrooms. Their wholehearted participation filled the session with laughter, energy and meaningful interactions, making it an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone.
