Vegetable salad day was celebrated in Montessori to explain the importance of eating salad as well as healthy food.

Teachers were dressed as vegetable vendor, carrot, tomato and cucumber .To explain the concept a teacher was dressed as mummy. Each teacher dressed as a vegetable came and explained its importance, followed by a song how to wash, peel and cut vegetables. Salad was prepared in front of children and served to them. Children enjoyed the making and eating the salad. They learnt importance of eating healthy food.
