Kannada Rajyotsava 2016:

Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with great pomp and show in the school premises on 11th of November 2016 during the morning assembly, in the presence of the Principal Mr. Rajesh Pillai. The programme began with a patriotic song hailing the beauty of the land of Karnataka. A skit depicting the culture, tradition and the history of the formation of the Hoysala Dynasty kept the audience spell bound. This was followed by a duet and a solo song presented by the Xth grade students. A speech was also delivered which highlighted the contributions made by some of the great scholars of Karnataka in the field of Literature, Science etc.  The programme concluded with the address by the Principal wherein, he emphasised on the beauty of the Kannada Language and its contribution in the making of Indian history. He also reiterated that to gain more knowledge one needs to learn as many languages as possible and that shouldn’t be a barrier in the path of learning.  The programme was well received and the participants were applauded for their commendable performance.

Children’s Day celebrations 2016:

The much awaited Children’s day was celebrated with great vigour and enthusiasm in the school premises on the 14th of November 2016.Various events were planned for the students. The programme commenced with the morning assembly. Floral tributes were offered to the portrait of our Former Prime Minister -Shri Jawaharlal Nehru by all the teachers to mark his birthday. Our Principal wished all the students on the occasion of children’s day and gave them the message of being good human beings. He asked them to grow up with good values to become responsible citizens of tomorrow.  Students were later taken to different venues allotted for the day’s events.  The students of grade I&II were entertained with some foot tapping music and dance by their teachers. Children thoroughly enjoyed music and dance along with their mentors.  Students of grade III, IV&V enjoyed some fun-filled games like- The musical chair, Crossing the river and Bombing the city. Each and every student enthusiastically participated in all these games. The winners were also honoured on this occasion.  The student’s of Grade VI, VII &VIII too had their share of fun and frolic by first having a get together along with their teachers and later they enjoyed the screening of the movie “The Pirates of Caribbean” in the theatre room.   The students of classes IX & X too had a memorable day along with their teachers.  Our Principal Mr. Rajesh Pillai and the CEO Mrs.Preethi Reddy wished all our students a wonderful Children’s day and distributed ice-creams to all of them as a gesture of love. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day.

NIE Aptitude Test 2016-17:

NPS, CKBNR, in collaboration with NIE conducted an aptitude test for the students of grade VI-X on the 19th of November in the school premises. The students were tested for their logical reasoning.
