FANCY DRESS COMPETITION (23RD AND 24TH OF JANUARY):
Making the simple complicated is common place. Making the complicated awesomely simple, that’s creativity- Charles Mingue. Confusion would have reigned supreme, had it not been a school. One could see fairytale characters all around- Princess Elsa, Cinderella, Aladdin, Snow White descending down NPS Chikkabanavara campus, fruits and vegetables leaving the garden and marching past the portico, farmers with ploughs , soldiers with guns, witches boarding down buses in a quirky way, Punjabi ‘Kudi’ twirling her ‘paranda’, Peter Pan strolling past the reception with his quiver full of arrows, Bengali brides and grooms giggling in the corridors, a look-a-like Rajnikant flipping his goggles in his signature style and Malayali lasses sashaying down the stairs. A fancy dress competition organized for grades I & II on the 23rd and 24th of January provided a visual treat to all the viewers. The costume, dialogue delivery and style left the audience speechless. This programme provided a platform to the students to tame their wild thoughts into a disciplined process thereby giving vent to their creativity.
