The Investiture ceremony for the academic session 2018-19 was conducted on the 29th of June 2018 on the school ground. DCP T.P Shivkumar presided over as the Chief Guest for the day from the Bangalore South Division, along with the Chairman Mr.Raja Reddy, the CEO Mrs. Preethi Reddy , the  Principal Mr. Rajesh Pillai and the Academic Director Ms. Mary Thomas.  The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp which signifies removal of darkness and the continuous upward movement of the flame denotes the path of wisdom and divinity.It was followed by an energetic song and dance presented by the students of grades 5^th and 6^th.  The official Badging Ceremony was solemnized by the Chief Guest and the CEO, in the presence of the Principal and the Academic director. This was followed by the Oath and a colourful parade.

After the official function, students were awarded for their exemplary performance in the X board exams and perfect attendance in the year 2017. The chief guest did the honours of presenting the winners with citation, trophies and certificate of appreciation. It was a momentous day for the school.  The Chief Guest, CEO, the Principal and Academic director wished the newly inducted student council the very best for their future endeavours and asked them to be committed leaders and to discharge their duties diligently with sincerity.  The School Head Boy and the Head Girl thanked the school for giving them the opportunity to serve the school in their capacities. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.  It was a memorable day for National Public School.
