The birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru was celebrated as Children’s day in the school auditorium of National Public School, Chikkabanavara .

The children arrived at school, dressed in colourful clothes and were full of excitement.

The day began with a special assembly arranged by the teachers of the primary section which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the students. A small get together with their respective class teachers added to the fun and frolic of the day after which the students were taken to the school auditorium where the teachers gave various performances in order to express their love and care for them. The students in turn were enthralled to see their teachers sing, dance and enact with so much enthusiasm.

The magic show organized for the students of grades 1 and 2 was immensely loved by the children.The students were then treated to yummy snacks, which the teachers distributed to them with oodles of love. There was excitement in the air and the young ones were full of stories about their special day at school.

Buzzing with joy and excitement, the day ended on a festive note.
